Raspberry Lemon Drop Martini Recipe

Raspberry Lemon Drop Martini

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 1 serving
Glassware: Martini glass
Ingredients:
45 ml (1½ oz) Citroen Vodka
20 ml (2/3 oz) Chambord (Black Raspberry Liqueur)
30 ml (1 oz) Simple Syrup
15 ml (1/2 oz) Lemon Juice
20 ml (2/3 oz) Triple Sec (optional)
1 Lemon Wheel
Crushed Ice

Directions:

  1. Fill up cocktail shaker with crushed ice.
  2. Add all ingredients (except Chambord and lemon wheel) into cocktail shaker and shake it until it is completely chilled.
  3. Take chilled martini glass. Strain and pour mixed drink in it.
  4. Slowly pour chambord over it. Chambord will settle at the bottom center of glass giving it a layered color. (It should be poured at the center of the top surface with pour spout dipped inside the drink).
  5. Garnish with lemon wheel and serve.
Alternate Directions:

  1. Fill up cocktail shaker with crushed ice.
  2. Add all ingredients (lemon wheel) into cocktail shaker and shake it thoroughly.
  3. Strain and pour drink in chilled martini glass.
  4. Garnish with skewered raspberries and serve.
Tips and Variations:

  • Triple sec is optional in above recipe. Add it to get more citrus flavor.
  • If simple syrup is not available, then use 30 ml (1 oz) sweet and sour mix and 1/3 oz lemon juice.
  • For simpler preparation, use 2 parts raspberry flavored vodka, 1/2 part lemon juice and 1 part of simple syrup.
Taste: Sweet and sour with deep raspberry flavor.

i liked it the new way but i think you can give more martini good with less lemon juice....
