Bahama Mama Drink Recipe
This is a typical tiki cocktail having its signature characteristics, three different kinds of rum and freshly squeezed juice of orange and pineapple. The angostura bitters gives additional complex dimension to this fruity, tropical delight making it even more tempting and hard to resist.
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Serves: 1 serving
Glassware: Highball glass
|2/3 oz (20 ml) Aged Rum|
|2/3 oz (20 ml) Dark Rum|
|1 oz (30 ml) Coconut Rum Liqueur|
|1 oz (30 ml) Fresh Orange Juice|
|3 oz (90 ml) Pressed Pineapple Juice|
|3 dashes (12 drops) Angostura Bitters|
|1 Orange Wheel OR Pineapple Wedge (for garnishing)|
- Fill up empty highball glass with fresh ice cubes.
- Take all ingredients in the cocktail shaker and add ice cubes in it till shaker is 2/3rd full. Shake for 15 to 20 seconds and strain drink over ice in ice filled highball glass.
- Place orange wedge or pineapple wedge on the rim of glass as garnish and serve Bahama mama with or without straw.
